The Creation & Universe

The Creation and Universe

When we talk about universe, things that come into our minds are stars, planets, comets, galaxies, black holes and so on. Black hole is one of the wonder of universe. A black hole exists after a super mass star loses its nuclear power, collapsed and eventually exploded but the mass of gravity remains. The mass of gravity remains to exist as a mass of energy without a solid form. It pulls any nearby matter into it. Not even light can escape from the black hole. Astonishingly, scientists found that black hole is not stagnant, but rather it keeps moving on unknown route.

A star that loses its visible form but has it's gravity remains can be called as black hole. (Maybe some of you didn’t agree with me but feel free to express your opinions). Then, how about the normal stars and planets, how they are being created? (I use the word created here to show that things can’t happen by accident. As a Muslim, I firmly believe that all the things in the universe including humans have been created by the same Being with omnipotent power who we called as Allah).

The star is created from clouds of gasses that gather together, gradually spinning & compacted to make a sphere form (Some may say ellipse). The questions are, where are the gasses coming from? How can they attracted to each other and grouped until they turned to a solid form? Why must it be sphere? How can the gasses turned to energy? Why it circles? There are many questions to be answered here. Can our modern scientists answer all those questions in details. I don't think they have the capability to do that, because the most they can do is to identify the process. That's all!

As the gasses turned to a sphere form (and even during the process) like our planet, star also rotates on its axis and circling / orbiting the other star or black hole. The star itself is actually a big ball of energy. It's still a mystery how can the gasses modified themselves to become active atomic molecules that spark nuclear power. Anyhow, we can also describe it as some kind of energy machine that moves in circle / ellipse. Not just the stars but all of objects with gravity is circling in a beautiful circling system that shaped our universe as we know today.

We can summarise the circling system as follows:-

The moon circles the planet,
The planet circles the star,
The star circles the other star,
The group of stars circle the super mass black hole exists at the centre of galaxy.
The galaxy also circles the other galaxy.
The circling system in universe is so harmony and beautiful. There is no way they happen by coincidence!

The concept of creation

The concept of creation is actually very simple.  None of the things exist by itself except Allah. Let say for example, the mobile phone that we are using every day. Can somebody say that it exists by its own! No way! Somebody has invented it. That is way it is there. Then, same concept also applies to all living creatures including humans.  Am I right? The scientists always try to seek the answers on origination of life forms.  Amazingly, they never cease to do so until they die. Well, to me the answer is extremely simple. We have been created by a God. That is why we are here.

The important of learning about the universe

The question on how the things in universe being formed, then we can learn that as long as Allah permits us to do so. The reasons are, so that we can learn about ourselves, about our universe, and the most important thing is we learn about our Creator! We start to question ourselves, for what purposes God created us and the universe. Until we know the answers, we keep searching as long as we can.

Who create the universe? How it started? How the Heaven, Earth and Humans being created?  The answers to all those questions are already in the Quran (A Holy Book sent to Prophet Muhammad SAW as the final testament). The Quran explains about the universe, the messengers of Allah, humans, our purposes of existence, things that we can see or can’t see, our obligations, laws, the end of the day, the judgement day and all the things related to our life and afterlife and many more. So the answers are already in the Quran!

Never stop learning

Because we know the answers in the Quran, doesn’t mean we have to stop learning about ourselves and universe.  We have to keep learning and never stop to do so. Aren’t you curious about our universe? Aren’t you curious about yourselves? (However we have to be careful that this curiosity will not be taken advantage of so that we will not and never go astray from the right path) Because of this curiosity we can keep learning and we know that Al Quran is truly the Book of Allah. This is important in order to strengthen our faith as a Muslim. Lastly, we shall not die except with the believe that: -

There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is The Messenger of Allah.

The end.
